An HRIS Certification Program Has Finally Arrived!

I am very proud to announce and fully support IHRIM.org’s HR Information Systems/HRMS certification program. Frankly, I was not sure if a HRIS certification course could be broad enough and, at the same time, be detailed enough to create a useful program. I was wrong! I looked over the training material and documentation for this program and was extremely impressed with the amount of work put into this project. I fully believe the program will be of great value to someone who has worked with HRIS systems or someone who wants to gain the knowledge needed to enter the industry. Given how hard it is to find a job these days, or hold on to the one you have, having a HRIS certification listed on your resume certainly can’t hurt.

Someone needed to do this. It was not easy but for years I’ve seen people asking online about HRIS certifications programs and the answer was always the same, they don’t exist. Great Job IHRIM.org!

I’ve been in HRIS and Human Resources for over twenty five years and I understand just how important it is to stand out amongst my peers and demonstrate my competencies and value to my company every day. That is why I have worked so hard to earn my HRIP certification.
