Every Tuesday afternoon at 2:00 PM EST, I offer a free HRIS selection buying tips webinar. For those of you who don’t know, I spent the last fifteen years selling, supporting and implementing HRMS systems. Think of me as an additional resource of information for your HR Information Systems search. The HRIS vendors pay us so that means I am cheap; well actually, free.
With these classes, I provide a few tips on how to use CompareHRIS.com to find a system matching your needs. I might even make a few recommendations for products you should look at based on budget and needs. Once we have completed this section of the webinar, we turn it into an open forum for questions. I think this is the most helpful because others may present questions that you are also interested in hearing the answers to. I typically see four or five prospects in each of these sessions. We limit each class to ten participants but that has not been an issue thus far. If it becomes one, we will open the session to perhaps two days per week.
These sessions have also been very beneficial to me. It’s one of the few opportunities I get to communicate with those who are actively using CompareHRIS.com and looking for an HR software solution. The feedback from these sessions has been very helpful.
