- Download our HR and Payroll Software Buyers guide. With this document, I created a ten step process for evaluating, selecting, and getting approval for an Employee tracking Software. - Next you will want to complete our HRIS Selection tool. This free tool is going to assist you in a few ways. Before you can establish what your needs are for a system, you need to determine what these systems are capable of. This tool provides an extremely detailed list of the features and options that are available with today’s leading HRIS and HRMS software systems. Once completed, you will be presented with a scored list of the products which provide the closest match to your needs. Pick four to seven products to request a demo of.
