Well, it’s hard to believe but CompareHRIS.com just had her first birthday. Oh, how fast the kid has grown up. Given how quickly we have grown, I can’t wait to see where we are for birthday number two.
I started out with the simple concept of matching the needs of the HR software prospect to the features and options of the leading HRIS vendors. From the beginning, the core of our product was, and is today, our HRIS selection tool. How I envisioned it would be used has become a reality. I based the concept loosely on real estate websites, where you determine your needs and upon submitting the results you are presented with a scored list of the products which provide the closest match. It was not easy to get there but we did it.
I am overjoyed to see a concept become a reality and actually make money. We are not done yet, not even close. As far as business concepts go, CompareHRIS.com has a lot of room to grow. We will continue to add vendors and HR software solution product groups during our second year. More and more HR professionals are finding our service and see the value of our concept. We will continue to aggressively market our site, with the goal of making CompareHRIS.com the online authority on HR solutions. Our vendors are finding out that our concept of matching prospects’ needs to their features creates higher quality leads than they have found elsewhere.
