Most of the articles on CompareHRIS.com and HR-SoftwareBlog.com were written by me. My fifteen years of experience with selling, implementing and supporting HR software systems has been paramount in my ability to write these articles. I fully understand that representatives employed with our HRIS vendors also offer important industry advice. In order to extract some of this wisdom for our site’s visitors, I recently created a standard set of vendor interview questions which I sent to all of our existing vendors. Thus far, four have completed these voluntary questionnaires.
The questions focused on what makes their individual system unique, their target market, and future plans. Perhaps even more important, however, was the vendor’s input on advice for those looking for HRMS software, the biggest changes in the industry they have seen in the past five years, and the biggest changes they expect in the next five years. Most of the interviews were completed by top officers within each company and these provide an additional valuable resource to assist you with your research on the HR software industry.
Four of the interviews have been returned this far but as we see new ones completed, we will include them on the blog and our website.
