Core Human Resources

Training and Development

Epicor HCM tools make it easy to manage development plans. In addition to being able to schedule classes, update location information, and list class fees, you can also enroll employees in classes, record if an employee completed a class and at what proficiency, and track employee progress. Employees can also access class information through self-service features and submit the classes they wish to attend for approval.   Training information is integrated with all other aspects of the employee profile, providing a complete picture of an employee’s lifecycle. It can include both internal and external classes.  For those organizations operating under the oversight of federal or state agencies, this module makes compliance reporting a breeze.

Timesheets

Epicor HCM Timesheets provides an intuitive, Web-based time entry application for employees and managers to submit and approve time online.  Using Manager Self-Service features, Managers can filter the time sheets by those submitted, not submitted or waiting for approval making the time worked approval process more efficient.  Users have the ability to assign project codes to time worked, track exceptions, or allocate time spent working with other departments or at alternate locations. And employees enter time from the convenience of their own work station.

Position Control 

The Epicor HCM Position Control and Budgeting module lets you tighten the controls on headcount and funding allocations. Whether it’s creating a new position and submitting a request for approval or measuring resources against position competencies and education requirements, Position Control and Budgeting allows HR professionals to refine the attributes of a position for better administration of open, filled, and new positions.  Track headcount by FTE and manage headcount budgets with real-time employee count information.

Employee Connect
 
Epicor Employee Connect allows employees access from a kiosk, your intranet, or the Internet.   Employee self-service features are designed to be easy to use and easy to navigate, so individuals can access their information, update their profiles and manage their benefits and time off.  They can update addresses, emergency contacts, change dependents, and reprint their own W-2. They can display check detail from history, print benefit statements, request time-off, and more.

Manager Self Service 

Managers are able to view information on their direct reports, submit requisitions, initiate pay changes, reassign jobs, and approve time off. A manager can monitor training, complete performance appraisals and produce reports on their employees.  Furthermore, Manager Self-Service falls under Epicor HCM security control so a manager can only access those employees who report to them and see just the data that you’ve approved.

Candidate Connect

The Epicor HCM Candidate Connect module extends your recruiting capabilities allowing applicants to find and apply for open positions online. Applicants can attach their resume to their profile and provide a complete picture of their skills and capabilities whether it is for an open requisition or an unsolicited submittal.  Candidate Connect is integrated with the Epicor HCM Core HR module functionality. This helps recruiters save time, increase productivity, and better manage talent through the acquisition process. And applicants can edit their information anytime, at their convenience, to ensure that their online profile is always up to date.

Epicor HCM Link 

Epicor HCM Link is an interface tool that allows data to be exported from Epicor HCM into other systems; you can easily streamline tasks by transferring information to your payroll provider, your benefit vendors, or other systems. Using HCM Link to connect Payroll to your HRIS, you can enter data into Epicor HCM before the effective date and only export it to payroll when the time is right. HCM Link comes with several pre-defined integration templates for ADP payroll systems and 834 benefit enrollment transactions.

Mobile Connect

Todays workforce is on the move so you need tools that will help keep up with managers and employees. The Epicor HCM Mobile Connect allows both managers and employees access to frequently used self-service tasks from their mobile device.

Country Specific Functionality
